Karbala, or Nainawa, is a barren desert near the Euphrates River, Iraq, where a moving—unforgettable—event occurred.
As the name suggests, karb (sorrow) and bala (nestapa), the family of Rasulullah SAW—his grandchildren and relatives—experienced sorrow and sorrow.
They achieved martyrdom, the highest virtue promised Allah and His Messenger.
They were willing to sacrifice their bodies and "fragrant blood" to free weak people from the grip of unjust rulers, and uphold the Islam that their grandfather, Rasulullah SAW, had brought to them.
